A Creamy Mash

This easy to make mash will make your guests want to lick their plates. Serve them with saucy chicken breasts and a crunchy salad. Cut them into small pieces for quicker cooking time. Enjoy!

Serves 4


Ingredients:

  • 4 medium potatoes

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 4 tbsp butter

  • 1 cup milk

  • 1 tbsp sour cream

  • 1 tbsp chives

Method:

  1. Cook the potatoes for 20 minutes in a medium saucepan with water enough to cover the potatoes.

  2. Drain the potatoes, season with salt and mash.

  3. In the same saucepan, heat the butter and milk stirring to combine - do not boil.

  4. Add the butter-milk sauce to the mash, a little a time and keep stirring.

  5. Stir in sour cream.

  6. Add chives and stir.
